We have crafted drop-dead gorgeous, one-of-a-kind covers for savvy individuals, bands, artists, media companies and businesses of all sizes. Custom covers are available in every single one of Toast’s fabulous product lines. We can laser etch to multiple depths, create custom marquetry kits with contrasting wooden inlay pieces, or put translucent colored films behind cutouts to dial in the look you want.
The process is easy: just upload a high-resolution image or vector file in JPG, PSD, BIT, AI or EPS format with your order. (Keep in mind that black-and-white line art or image files - like logos, line drawings and high-contrast illustrations - tend to translate into etchings better than regular photos do, but we can work with a grainy Polaroid if that's all you've got). We accept any images you submit as your own art that you have appropriate permission to use.
We’ll send you a rendering of your masterpiece for your approval before we cut it. When you give it the thumbs-up, we'll craft it. Single custom covers typically take 3-5 days to create, with longer lead times possible on bulk orders.
Pricing
You can get your hands on some sweet custom Toast starting at $59, with price discounts for multiples and repeat orders. On larger items like tablets, laptops and gaming systems, custom etchings that exceed 4 inches in height (regardless of width) will incur an extra fee (ranging from $20 to $60) depending on size and complexity. Colored films are an extra $5. Our designers will give you a heads-up about any additional fees when they send your rendering for approval.
