Type Cover Panels

It fits perfektly ans protects the Type Cover nicely. I also build by my own a Cover for the "Front of the Surface Pro 4 Type Cover" (ordered a second one of these and cut it out by mysef) Its pretty nice and easy to do.

missing a piece

This is a really good looking cover, and it adds not only a premium feel to the type cover, but also a measure of protection, which is good considering Microsoft's choice of the felt-like material for the covers isn't very hard-wearing. My nice red cover is now showing parts where the felt is thinning -- the parts where the type cover makes contact with the desktop. Which brings me to a missed opportunity for this cover -- one additional strip for the back of the magnetic hinge section, because that part makes a lot of contact with the desk and mine is looking pretty worn now. If I could cover that with a Toast wood strip, this would easily be five stars for me. As it is, it's pretty, but not as functional as it could be. Hi Edmond, Thank you for your review, and our apologies for the disappointment. When designing a cover, we attempt to use as much material as possible. We always use the actual device to ensure perfection, and there's a lot of testing involved to ensure there are zero issues. A wood strip for the back of the magnetic hinge would have to be cut super thin as not to conflict with functionality, and unfortunately it would not hold up with regular use.
